As an artist, I am interested in the essence of what it means to be human. This question lies at the heart of almost every art piece that I make. 

Looking for clues and investigating, I have come up with the idea of FETT UND KNOCHEN HAUFEN (DA/AD). It involves the concept of us (humans) being natural as well as "cultural" beings, all the while bearing elements of analog and digital life. 

In between these poles or these sides of a spectrum lies a spark that I am happy to turn into fires and flames. In my artistic practice, the aspect of "play" is essential: Playing with (friendly) fire, that is what art is.

Don't overjudge, don't premeditate (too much), play and be played with by art itself, become a plaything.

The role of the artist is to enable, to make these artworks possible, bring them into the world and make them happen. I am their Geburtshelfer.
